I led marketing for The Ken, a pan-Asian biz journalism site with 3,00,000+ subscribers, and also The Caravan, India's finest narrative non-fiction magazine, helping them pivot from advertising-driven to subscription journalism in 2019, before that model took off.
At P&G, I led marketing for Tide and Ariel, launched Tide Pods in India, and worked on growing these iconic $250M brands used by 80M+ households in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
My marketing work taught me a lot about psychology, Indian socioculture, and thinking in systems, given the complexity of selling anything to millions of people (or just the top few% of them, in some cases).
I worked as a software developer at Amazon before my marketing journey, with a degree in engineering from BITS Pilani, Goa, and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.
